The western collared titi monkey, Callicebus torquatus ignitus

Oldfield Thomas described in 1927 the subspecies Callicebus torquatus ignitus from a specimen collected at the Rio Tonantins, Upper Rio Solimoes, Brazil.

Although the taxonomy of the torquatus group is far from clear, this subspecies is generally considered to be a junior synonym of Callicebus lugens.
